Our Journey: Milestones in Kadalodi Pvt Ltd

Founded in 2022, Kadalodi Private Limited has emerged as a reliable force in the import and export shipping industry, offering end-to-end logistics solutions between India, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka. Our journey began with a strong vision: to make cross-border trade faster, safer, and more efficient for businesses in the Indian Ocean region.

We evolved quickly by building our own fleet, streamlining procurement, and establishing regular maritime routes. Today, we operate two dedicated vessels and manage a wide variety of import/export cargo — from perishables and general goods to aggregates and industrial supplies.

With a customer-first mindset and a commitment to timely deliveries, charter flexibility, and operational excellence, Kadalodi continues to grow as a trusted logistics partner for exporters, importers, and traders throughout South Asia.

2022 - The Foundation

Kadalodi is founded a seasoned mariner with over a decade of experience at sea. Started as a proprietorship export business, focused on sourcing agro products and managing small-scale shipments.

Early 2023 – Transition to Maritime Operations

Realized growing demand for direct cargo delivery from India to Maldives. Formation of Kadalodi Private Limited as a full-fledged shipping and logistics company. Set the groundwork to acquire and operate own vessels.

Mid 2023 – Vessel Acquisition & Operations Begin

Acquired first vessel: MV Sithaa, an iron-hull cargo vessel built for perishable and general cargo transport. Began operations on the route Tuticorin → Male, Addu & all Maldives atolls. First historic shipment: 150 tonnes of perishables delivered to Addu — a milestone in direct shipping from India to the southern Maldives.

Late 2023 – Service Expansion

Introduced charter services: Voyage Chartering and Time Chartering. Added aggregate cargo services and built strong procurement channels across Tamil Nadu. Established regular schedule to Male, Addu, Kudafushi, and other island ports.

2025 – Ready for Global Upgrade

Planning for fleet expansion and international route development starting Jan 2025. Now seeking strategic investment partners to: Scale vessel count and route frequency Expand into Africa and Southeast Asia Build digital cargo booking and tracking systems
